Powered by a mobile app, local community gardeners can easily input their excess produce and a volunteer will pick it up by bicycle and trailer.
FRESH FOOD CONNECT
Backyard & Community Gardeners Give Back
It’s now easier than ever for backyard and community gardeners to donate extra veggies! Any time you have excess produce, you can enter it into the Fresh Food Connect app, leave the produce on your front step and a Longmont Food Rescue volunteer will pick it up in an eco-friendly bicycle and trailer.
All food donated through Longmont Food Rescue will go to those in our community that can benefit the most from fresh, healthy, FREE food.
How to Sign Up
For 2024, if you live within the Longmont city boundary (zip code 80501 and parts of 80503 and 80504) you can sign up to donate produce from your garden. Our couriers only pick up with Longmont city limits!
Go to www.FreshFoodConnect.org to download the mobile app! Any other questions can be sent to us via our contact form.
