COMMUNITY FRIDGES
Community-Led Food Food Rescue & Redistribution
We now have three Community Fridges in Longmont providing 24/7 free food access! Community fridges, or ‘freedges’, run off a goodwill basis by local residents. Anyone can drop off unopened or unused food items and all are welcome to stop by to take what they need. No questions asked!
Our fridges are currently hosted by Longmont United Hospital and Heart of Longmont.
Looking To Get Involved?
If you’d like to donate food to our fridges, please see our Community Guidelines. Please fill out our Interest Form if you have tech, skills, or time you’d like to donate.
Thank You to Our Donors
These fridges were donated by Growing Gardens Food Project Farm, with art designed by Firehouse Art Center and painted by volunteers from the Longmont High School Football Team, Agape Safe Haven, Longmont Food Rescue, and UpRoot Colorado.
